Catherine has a deep interest in the Cathar region of France, where she has a home. She has done extensive research in and around the many sacred and historical sites of the region. Catherine will speak to tour groups or at events and will assist private excursions to Montségur.
Catherine has written 19 published books, the first in 1985 about the National Gallery of Ireland. A passion for research and history links her books. These include a historical novel of the Cathar’s last stand at Montségur in the south of France.
Catherine can be commissioned to write, research, or edit books on subjects, especially those with a historical angle. She is exceptionally good at assisting writers who struggle to complete their own manuscripts. She is appreciated by her clients for her comprehensive approach to research and her discipline in completing projects on time.
